![]() You have the whole world under your spell, and you can influence almost everyone you know. You don't always resist your urges to crush the weak. Just remember, they don't have as much going for them as you do. You are a very lucky person. Things just always seem to go your way. And because you're so lucky, you don't really have a lot of worries. You just hope for the best in life. You're sometimes a little guilty of being greedy. Spread your luck around a little to people who need it. You are usually the best at everything ... you strive for perfection. You are confident, authoritative, and aggressive. You have the classic "Type A" personality. You are very intuitive and wise. You understand the world better than most people. You also have a very active imagination. You often get carried away with your thoughts. You are prone to a little paranoia and jealousy. You sometimes go overboard in interpreting signals. |

How many of you out there when asked what kind of noise your brakes are making can describe them so that DH can understand what sound it is making!?! My DH used to be a Helicpoter Maintance Pilot and was trained to hear ANY KIND of noise that the OH-58D made. But for some reason when HE drove it, he couldn't hear what I have been hearing this past week when I put on my brakes. So this morning, I had to drive with him riding with me (after he had already driven it) to show him what sound I was hearing. Suprisingly, I guess he heard the right equation?!
So we have:
(Car + Brakes) + (DH + Meineke)= gorilla
THIS +
THISAny questions?

My Dear Friend
Each life that touches ours for good
What greater gift dost thou bestow,
When such a friend from us departs,
For worthy friends whose lives proclaim

Sometime this morning in Texas, one of my dear friends, Vicki Fillmore Briggs, passed away. She was only 59.
I have known her for over 22 years. We met when our husbands were stationed in Ft. Riley, Kansas, serving in the army. We met at church. She had 5 kids and I had 4. She was ten years older than I was, but she took me under her wing and treated me like a little sister. She was always helping me with my kids, because I was so overwhelmed with my four small children. She had kids around the same age as mine and some older, so they helped me A LOT. I would help her with cooking and cleaning and she would help me with my kids. We were inseparable! We even had a preschool class for some of the children in our ward. I have a picture of her somewhere dressed up in her Halloween costume, when we had our little Halloween party in my basement! In time she moved away, but we still kept in touch after all these years. Over the past couple of months we have had several phone conversations. She told me that she had "sarcoidosis". I found out today when her oldest child, her son, called to let me know that she had passed, that she had cancer all over her body; spine, liver, head; just to name a few. Her family just found out 2 weeks ago that she had cancer.
Vicki loved to sing, and was even in the choir in Washington, DC while they lived there. She has written several children's books. She was a teacher. She was a wife, mother, and most of all one of the sweetest friends a person could ever ask for.
So goodbye for now, my dear friend. Until we meet again. I love you.
My baby's 22!
